Decals

All our decals are in A7 size (Approx) and 1/72 nd scale, excepted when stated otherwise (large sheets giving the Belgian, Portuguese or Chinese insignas, for example). Non contractual images.

The sixth serie of decals is ready, we are working on the notices (sheet FR0X29 sold without notice, ready). We should deliver near the 15 th of January.

Please note that the price of our new decals is raising (7,50 euros for the smallest, 12 for the insignas sheets), as well as the price for older decals. The new price will be applied from the 15 th of January ... orders before that date will be served at older price (direct order in page CONTACT)

FR0X33 India Ouragan Sqn 4 / 47 / 51 Aux.  ( 1/48 nd) size A7

You may have one of these aircraft (only one set of roundels is given) :  

  • IC868, Sqn n°4 "Urial" (add the green scarf on the nose)
  • IC556, Sqn n°47 "Black Archers" 
  • IC698, Aux. Sqn n°51, crashed in Pakistan on the 24 th of June, 1965

FR0X32 Japan, Army Test Center 1/72 nd size A7 (having one  Martin Type 166)

You may do these aircraft, tried by the Army Test Center (with the corresponding insigna):  

  • Martin 166 N°5121 WH-3
  • Martin 139 N°523 WH-2  (you have to procure the roundels)
  • Hurricane MK IIb (probably not Mk I as written on the sheet)
  • B-17E (only the Army Test Center insigna is given)

FR0X31 Belgium Fiat CR 42 / Renard R-31 size A7

Allows to build one  Fiat CR 42 and one Renard R-31 in Belgian colors. We wanted to have aircraft of each of the twn Fiats Sqn (Cocottes Blanches and Cocottes Rouges) whose matricules are known. Same for the  Renard R-31 (Sioux Rouge, Sioux Bleu).   Roundels on proportions 1/3/5

  • Fiat CR 42 R-17 N237 "Cocottes Rouges", destroyed at Brustem on the 10 th May, 1940
  • Fiat CR 42 R-19 N249 "Cocottes Blanches", sent to Chartres in May 1940
  • Renard R-31 N3, 9 th Sqn "Sioux Bleu"  (N and Sioux to take from the kit)
  • Renard R-31 N33, 11 th Sqn "Sioux Rouge"  (N and Sioux to take from the kit)

FR0X30 China Early (Martin 139 WC, DH-9, Zero, P-40K).

Gives the codes to build a DH-9A (more exactly, the soviet copy of DH-9A used by the Canton Army) and some Martins 139 WC (roundels and fin flag to get from the kit) . The first six Martin 139 bought by China were delivered in Shanghaï on first semester, 1937, were coded 3001 to 3006, and, amongst the three last aircraft (december 1937), only N°1403 and 1404 are known. Allows also to have a painting on one of the 139 WC (unfortunately, unknown n°, but probably 3001, 3005 or 3006, as 3002 to 4 have been destruyen during training, before being camouflaged in green).  The known photos with numbers give only N°3001 and 1403.

  • Codes 3001 to 3006, in white (roundels and fin flag to take from the kit)
  • Codes 1403 or 1404, 14 th Chungtui, April to July 1938
  • Painting on a 139 WC, port side 
  • DH-9A, Canton Army (Kwangsiu), 1920 / 1930 
  • Codes for a P-40K (roundels, in common with the Zero) 
  • Codes for a captured Zero (A6M2), latter sent to USA (roundels, in common with the P-40K)

FR0X29 China Roundels (1930 ... central government, Nanking + Kwangsiu) size A5, no notice

1/72 nd - but good also for 1/48 th (divide the nominal diameter on the sheet by 1,5. Also alternate roundels for the Nankin government, and Kwangsiu.

FR0X26 Miss Latrine of 1930  (taille A7)

Martin Type 166 (WH-3) with US insignas (only WH-3 with US stars stars). We have not included the green bands for the fuselage.  Kit FR0060 or FR0061, release expected in June or July 2025.


FR0X25 Fairey Battle MK.I Turkey / UK  1/72 nd

FR0X24 Portugal Potez 25 + Fleet 10G 

Allows to do one of these kits (one Potez 25 + one Fleet 10G):

  • Potez 25 White, serials black Nr330, Nr333
    Fleet 10G Nr67 or 79, you may use the kit FR002 Fleet 10G.

FR0X23 Potez 25 South America (A7 size).

Will give the below aircraft:

  • Potez 25 F-AJDZ, Aéropostale, Guillaumet in the Andes (modify the Special Hobby kit of Potez 25 TOE), completed with letters F-AJDZ under lower wing and small corrections
  • Potez 25 F-AJDX Air France, 1938, with F-AJDX under lower wing, in white, with Air France logo (use kit FR0037).
  • Potez 25 R-AJZR  Nr 2035 of Aeroposta Argentina S.A. alternatively Potez 25 F-AJZR Nr2025 in Air France colors (reconstituted from R-AJZR photos, to our knowledge there are no photos of F-AJZR). Modify a Special Hobby Potez 25 TOE.

FR0X19 Potez 25 ATAR  (A7 size).

OnTraining center in Thiés (Senegal), with the corresponding badge, for these aircraft  (only one set of roundels provided):

  • Potez 25 with  Salmson 18 Ab engine,  Nr 822 matricule K997 (you have to get the Salmson 18 Ab engine, please see kit FR0059)
  • Potez 25 TOE Nr 1299 V459 (Special Hobby kit)  

 

FR0X18 Brazil Potez 25 T.O.E or Renault 12 Kd  (A7 size).

Only one set of Brazilian roundels is provided, you may use them for only one of these aircraft: 

  • Potez 25 TOE A-117 with Lorraine engine (use SH kit). Loyalist aircraft shot down during the Paulista civil war (1932)
  • Potez 25 TOE A-116 with Lorraine engine (use SH kit). Went to the Paulistas in 1932. 
  • Potez 25 n°7 with Renault 12 Kd engine (use kit FR0053, but you also have to find a rudder similar to the Potez 25 equipped with  Salmson 18 CMb)   

 

FR0X17 SPAD 510 alternate, ERC 571, Poles in France,  SPA 77, etc (A7 size).

FR0X16 Potez 25 GAO 513 (Clermont-Ferrand), Lorraine or Farman (taille A7).

Allow to do Nr2075  V431 (Lorraine A2/B2) or Nr1958 K188 (Farman - kit FR0058 ) - the later one not so certain - there was indeed a Potez 25 Farman in GAO 513 wearing the corresponding crest, whose matricule might be K188 (corresponding to Nr 1958). But GAO 513 crest is so colourful ...

 

FR0X15 Belgian roundels with external blue circle (post 1945) - size A5). No notice.
