Decals

Our fourth set of decals (250 for each) has arrived, list below (FR0X16 to FR0X23), public price in OTHER page. Non contractual images:

FR0X23 Potez 25 South America (A7 size).

Will give the below aircraft:

  • Potez 25 F-AJDZ, Aéropostale, Guillaumet in the Andes (modify the Special Hobby kit of Potez 25 TOE), completed with letters F-AJDZ under lower wing and small corrections
  • Potez 25 F-AJDX Air France, 1938, with F-AJDX under lower wing, in white, with Air France logo (use kit FR0037).
  • Potez 25 R-AJZR  Nr 2035 of Aeroposta Argentina S.A. alternatively Potez 25 F-AJZR Nr2025 in Air France colors (reconstituted from R-AJZR photos, to our knowledge there are no photos of F-AJZR). Modify a Special Hobby Potez 25 TOE.

FR0X19 Potez 25 ATAR  (A7 size).

OnTraining center in Thiés (Senegal), with the corresponding badge, for these aircraft  (only one set of roundels provided):

  • Potez 25 with  Salmson 18 Ab engine,  Nr 822 matricule K997 (you have to get the Salmson 18 Ab engine, please see kit FR0059)
  • Potez 25 TOE Nr 1299 V459 (Special Hobby kit)  

 

FR0X18 Brazil Potez 25 T.O.E or Renault 12 Kd  (A7 size).

Only one set of Brazilian roundels is provided, you may use them for only one of these aircraft: 

  • Potez 25 TOE A-117 with Lorraine engine (use SH kit). Loyalist aircraft shot down during the Paulista civil war (1932)
  • Potez 25 TOE A-116 with Lorraine engine (use SH kit). Went to the Paulistas in 1932. 
  • Potez 25 n°7 with Renault 12 Kd engine (use kit FR0053, but you also have to find a rudder similar to the Potez 25 equipped with  Salmson 18 CMb)   

 

FR0X17 SPAD 510 alternate, ERC 571, Poles in France,  SPA 77, etc (A7 size).

You may built the below aircraft (roundels, fin flag, stencils to take from kits FR0049 or FR0050), please see magazine "Les Ailes" Nr 8 (written by Matthieu Comas, thanks a lot for the informations and help):

  • N°13, white N191 blanc, ERC 571 AFN
  • N°19, white N197 Groupe Commander  (alternate:  Nr 19 camouflaged with code White 4)

  • n°39, black N217, codes 3 and 6, "Poles in France"
  • N°41, black N219, Commanding Officer 7 ème Escadre. 
  • N°34 (probable), coded white 4 in AFN, camoufled, matricule not provided
  • black digits  3, 5, 0, 4 for correcting matricules in kits FR0049 / FR0050. Until Nr 20 (or 21 ?), matricules were white, with undersides of both wings in green. After: undersides of both wings in painted Metal, with Black matricules.

FR0X16 Potez 25 GAO 513 (Clermont-Ferrand), Lorraine or Farman (taille A7).

Allow to do Nr2075  V431 (Lorraine A2/B2) or Nr1958 K188 (Farman - kit FR0058 ) - the later one not so certain - there was indeed a Potez 25 Farman in GAO 513 wearing the corresponding crest, whose matricule might be K188 (corresponding to Nr 1958). But GAO 513 crest is so colourful ...

 

FR0X15 Belgian roundels with external blue circle (post 1945) - sizee A5). No notice.
